I'm still working that all out for myself haha
If you're like me and you're not particularly partial to flash, I'd recommend buying/renting a wide-angle lense, something with an f-stop of around f2.8 or lower, and crank up your ISO to between 400 and 800, at which point you'll have to consider grain. If you can buy a cheap f1.5 prime lense or something like that, that'll help as well. You won't get much in the way of zoom, but it'll do what you need it to, light-capturing-wise. There are some shows that are are just too dark to get something decent without a flash, but that's probably your best bet. The current lense I'm working with is a Canon L-series f2.8 24mm - 70mm USM lense. As well, adjust your settings for a fairly quick shutter speed and try that. Hope that sort of helps, if you've got any more questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks ^^ I'll just try it all out. I have a f1.7 lense so that's good for me then I guess. I'll go to as many free conserts as I can and practice now. Thanks again for all the good tips

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
